What kinds of personal information do we hold? 

  • Your name, email address and phone number. Possibly also your organisation’s name, your job title, your company and/or home address and which Climate Parliament events you have attended. 

  • The Climate Parliament website uses Wix Analytics to collect non-personal information on website users, such as session length, pages visited and files downloaded. 

  • The Climate Parliament website was built using the Wix content management system, which uses cookies to perform essential functions, such as allowing users to register and remain logged in. Cookies are only used for website administrators; they are not used for general website visitors. 

Why do we collect this information? 

  • So we can let you know about Climate Parliament-related matters that we think may be of interest to you, like inviting you to Climate Parliament events. 

  • So we can be transparent about Climate Parliament’s trustees, advisors, and the people and organisations we work with. 

  • So we can better fulfil our charitable object of action on climate change – for example, by tracking the number of visits to specific pages on our website to see how useful those pages are. 

  • So we can carry out our obligations if we enter into a contract with you for the provision of goods or services. 

How can you access and update your personal information?

  • Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you think we are mishandling your personal information.

  • We hold this information for no longer than necessary to fulfil Climate Parliament’s charitable purposes.
